Great start. Lousy finish.

 

This was a interesting project. It’s the web site design for a web site company.

The first graphics you see are the concepts we showed for our first presentation. The client like the one that was a takeoff of the Time magazine campaign that showed the magazine’s cover dropped into a large photo. The idea was to show that the web designers will take the country clubs beautiful pictures and make them work inside their web sites.

After the initial presentation we worked with the client for weeks refining the home page design. The client decided to announce a new version of their software, develop icons for the product rethink the original concept and make it into something they seemed to like.

After we had completed all of the design there was a meeting scheduled for a final sign  off and the site was going to be coded. The last meeting was cancelled. The CEO was no longer an employee, the CMO had taken another job and the design was never finished. Another story, another layout. Live and learn.
